Grand Solmar Land's End Resort & Spa officially opened its doors on February 13th as the newest luxury offering in Los Cabos. The latest venture from Solmar Hotels & Resorts, Grand Solmar marks the fifth property owned and operated in Cabo San Lucas by the reputable hotel group. With the extraordinary vision of renowned Dallas architecture firm HKS and interior design by Arquitectura De Interiores, the resort celebrates its incredible location at the very tip of the Baja Peninsula and blend harmoniously with its natural surroundings. Grand Solmar Land’s End Resort & Spa welcomes guests with royal gardens and old world architecture with an accommodating staff available to provide outstanding service to all guests.
Earlier this year, Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, L.L.C. announced the expansion of their upscale hotel brand’s resort portfolio, with the addition of the Wyndham Cabo San Lucas Resort. The five-story resort will go through a $10 million renovation and is scheduled for completion by early 2012. The Wyndham Cabo San Lucas Resort is located adjacent to the Cabo San Lucas Marina, putting travelers in the heart of downtown and just steps from activities and excitement.
The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. formerly announced a joint venture between Grupo Questro and Trinity Investments L.L.C. for a Ritz-Carlton Reserve property to be built in Los Cabos. After an extensive search for the perfect location, The Ritz-Carlton Company, LLC chose Los Cabos as the site for their first Ritz Carlton Reserve property in Mexico. The resort will feature 124 private, single-story and oceanfront villas, each with panoramic views of the Sea of Cortez and is set to open in 2014.
Most recently, Morgans Hotel Group has signed hotel management agreements that will expand the Delano brand to Los Cabos. The 114-room Delano property in Cabo San Lucas is currently under construction and is expected to also feature 23 branded residences, as well as a modern restaurant and spa. The Delano Hotel is scheduled to in early 2013.
